Richard Arrowood is an iconic wine master who has been making wine exclusively in Sonoma County for more than for 50-plus years. When he resigned his position to devote himself full-time to making wines for his estate winery, Amapola Creek Vineyards and Winery. Our ranch consists of approximately 100 acres along the sun-washed western slope of the Mayacamas Mountains adjacent to the highly-acclaimed Monte Rosso Vineyard. These red, iron-oxide soils have yielded superb wines for well over a century. We have planted approximately 20 acres of organically certified estate vines to continue in that tradition.
