This Grenache is a superb expression of Californian - proof that the state can produce world-class examples of the variety. The nose is instantly expressive and characteristically Grenache, with aromas of violets, tobacco, red raspberries and wet stone. Reminiscent of Chambord, this wine is racy with fresh raspberry confection fruit flavors, supple tannins and a spice laced finish.
